So I don't particularly like this song- its cheesey and it tries too hard and its a commerical watering down of music I love (that's another entry) BUT...
this is the funniest fucking I have EVER seen on youtube. This shit is pure-fucking-unadulterated-genius!

You and my 15-year-old son like the same kind of music (Chiodos, All Time Low, Cute is What We Aim For, Mayday Parade). And while I think the SNL skit "Dick in a Box" is the funniest thing I've ever seen on Youtube, this was pretty entertaining!
at the risk of being an annoying music snob-pretentious ass (i am one), i like the music your son's music tries to be but isnt original or tuff enuff...
tell him to go to the i tunes store and check out the following-

it makes that stuff sound like teen disney.
side note though, as an involved mom, you might not approve of the content wise as that is all some hateful, self-loathing shit. but i LOVE it. its like colonopin that i put in my ears.
I appreciate the suggestions (although I probably won't tell him that his music is wanna-be music!). I'm gonna pass them on.
Yeah, some of his music is scary to hear as a mom, but as an involved mom, I listen to it and we talk. And as a former singer, and piano and guitar player, I can tell him what I like about any song he plays, even the stuff that doesn't work for me.
But give me Nine Inch Nails or Alice in Chains or Aerosmith any day!
